Bridging the Future Through the Art of Calligraphy

In Japan, calligraphy transcends the mere act of writing; it has been nurtured as a cultural art form, handed down through generations.

As someone who lives within this rich history and spirit, I see it as my mission to pass on this profound tradition to younger generations, children, and people around the world while creating new value. Striving to be a bridge that connects the potential of calligraphy to the future, I continue to challenge myself every day.

Born in Saitama in 1975, I began studying calligraphy around the age of five. In 2003, I held my first solo exhibition at a restaurant in Azabu-Juban, Tokyo. Since then, my work has spanned various fields, from designing the title for a CD jacket by world-renowned guitarist Ichiro Suzuki to leading calligraphy workshops for Hollywood stars such as Will Smith. In 2023, I held my first overseas exhibition and received the Special Jury Award at Art Friend 2023 in Florence.
